Pipers Brook’s vineyards are situated on meticulously selected sites coveted for their terroir, reminiscent of prestigious wine regions in France. The rich volcanic soils, distinct geography, temperate climate, and proximity to the Bass Strait all contribute to the unique character of their estate-grown wines. Over the past five decades, Pipers Brook has been at the forefront of cool-climate winemaking, producing wines that are revered both nationally and internationally.
The evening will be hosted by Pipers Brook’s esteemed winemaker, Luke Whittle, who will guide guests through a curated selection of the vineyard’s most celebrated wines. Luke will share insights into the history of Pipers Brook, from its early days as a pioneering vineyard to its current status as a leader in Tasmanian winemaking. Guests will have the unique opportunity to engage with Luke and learn about the vineyard’s journey over the past 50 years.
The evening will feature a distinguished selection of Pipers Brook wines, including a vertical tasting of Kreglinger Sparkling & Brut de Blanc, a rare offering from the vineyard’s museum collection of Estate Riesling and their renowned Reserve Pinot Noir. Each wine has been carefully chosen to reflect the vineyard’s legacy and to offer guests a rare opportunity to experience the evolution of Tasmanian winemaking.
